Admission Requirements

DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES WORKER / PERSONAL SERVICE WORKER

  1. Applicants must be 18 years or older (Evidenced by Driver’s Licence, Passport, and Birth Certificate).
  2. Completion of College Admission Application Form.
  3. Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or its Equivalent or Mature Student Status
    • Freedom College of Business, Healthcare and Technology Inc. uses Wonderlic Basic Skills Test (WBST) as their mature student test with attainment of a requisite score of 60%.
  4. Success in College’s Admission Interview.
  5. Evidence of Eligibility to work in Canada:
    • Canadian Citizen
    • Landed Immigrant/Permanent Resident.
    • Work Permit (Must be valid for the duration of the program).
  6. Medical certificate of Fitness.
  7. Criminal Reference Check.
  8. Vulnerable Sector screening disclaimer form (vulnerable sector police check must be obtained /submitted before commencement of practicum placement)

This decision has been taken to slow down the transmission rate and help keep the most vulnerable safe. The health and safety of our students and the Freedom College community is our number one priority. We have shared responsibilities in following the recommendations of the Government of Canada and Provincial and Local Public Health authorities.
